Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles and Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz reviewed in Madrid on Thursday Saudi-Spanish relations and defense cooperation.

They discussed strengthening and developing this cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both countries.

Additionally, they explored ways to support regional and international security and stability.

Upon arrival, Prince Khalid was received with an official ceremony, including a national anthem salute and an honor guard inspection.

Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al Muqrin attended the reception, along with several Saudi and Spanish officials.

A second Saudi relief plane has landed at Aleppo International Airport in Syria, delivering urgent humanitarian aid, including shelter materials, to those affected by the recent fires in Latakia Governorate.

The relief operation is spearheaded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, marking the 18th flight in the ongoing Saudi airlift dedicated to assisting the Syrian people.

This aid underscores the Kingdom's continuous relief and humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian population, embodying Saudi Arabia's significant humanitarian role through KSrelief in supporting those in need and affected communities worldwide.
