Thunderstorms to Continue Across Saudi Arabia Until Monday

The Saudi Directorate-General of Civil Defense (DGCD) warned on Saturday that thunderstorms will continue across the Kingdom until Monday.

It called on people to exercise caution, to remain in safe places and avoid valleys and areas prone to flooding.

It said the Makkah region, including the Holy City, Jeddah, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, Al-Kharmah, Turabah, Raniyah, Al-Muwayh, Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Laith, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Bahra, Khulais, and Rabigh, will be affected by moderate to heavy rains, leading to torrential rains, hail, and dust-stirring winds.

The Riyadh region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains, including Afif, Al-Quwayiyah, Al-Dawadmi, Az-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Shaqra, Thadiq, Marat, Al-Majma'ah, and Rimah, and light to moderate rains in the capital Riyadh, Hawtah Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Muzahmiyyya, Al-Kharj, Harimla, Ad-Diriyah, and Dharma.

Moderate to heavy rains will affect the regions of Madinah, Hail, Al-Qassim, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, the Eastern Region, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan.

Third Saudi Airlift Plane Arrives in Syria

The third relief plane of the Saudi airlift, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived Thursday at Damascus International Airport in Syria, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies, SPA reported.
This assistance is an extension of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief efforts through the Kingdom’s humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those in need worldwide during times of crisis.
