Saudi Arabia has firmly opposed any unauthorized actions outside Sudan’s official institutions that could threaten its unity or fail to reflect the will of its people, including calls to form a parallel government.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Friday, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its unwavering support for Sudan’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. It urged all Sudanese parties to prioritize national interests over factional agendas and to prevent the country from descending into division and chaos.

The Kingdom also reiterated its commitment to mediating peace efforts in Sudan, in line with the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023, which aims to end hostilities and restore stability in the war-torn nation.
