Saudi FM, UN Chief Discuss High-Level Palestine Conference

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on Thursday spoke by telephone with United Nations Secretary-General Antَonio Guterres.

They reviewed the ongoing preparations for the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which will be held this month at the UN headquarters in New York.

They also discussed the latest regional and international developments.

Prince Faisal also spoke by telephone with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, with whom he discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a written message from President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro regarding ways to foster a stronger relationship between the two friendly countries in various fields, the Saudi Press Agency said on Tuesday.

The message was handed over to Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji as he received the Venezuelan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia David Velasquez Caraballo at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh on Sunday.

The officials discussed the relations between the two countries and the means to develop them across various domains, in addition to other topics of mutual concern.
