Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reiterated on Monday Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the crimes and barbaric practices against and attempts to displace the Palestinian people.
In a telephone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, he underlined the need for the international community to address the disastrous repercussions of the Israeli aggression and to protect civilians.
For his part, Abbas expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s efforts and principled positions, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, which led many countries to commit to recognizing the State of Palestine.
He praised the Kingdom’s leadership for its intense efforts to coordinate positions to secure the broadest international support for the Palestinian cause during the New York conference, and for its consistent stance and ongoing efforts to stand with the Palestinian people and their just cause.
The leaders reviewed the developments in Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian ramifications.
