The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s strongest condemnation of the repeated statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, including through the Rafah border crossing.
The Ministry further denounced the continued use of blockade and starvation as means to impose forced displacement - actions that constitute a flagrant violation of international laws, humanitarian principles, and the most basic standards of human rights.
In this regard, the Kingdom reaffirmed its unwavering support for Egypt and its efforts to safeguard regional stability and protect Palestinian civilians from further suffering.
Saudi Arabia underscored the urgent need for the international community - particularly the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council - to intervene and halt Israel’s ongoing aggressive policies against the Palestinian people and their land.
The Kingdom reiterated its rejection of any form of displacement, regardless of justification, and renewed its call to hold the occupation authorities accountable for genocide and grave violations against civilians.
It further emphasized the urgent need to put an immediate end to these practices, provide protection for the Palestinian people, and fulfill their legitimate rights in establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, as the only viable path to achieving lasting security and stability in the region.
