Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has met with his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Nafti, in Tunis to review aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The foreign minister and his Tunisian counterpart also co-chaired on Tuesday the fourth session of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee between the Kingdom and Tunisia.
The session discussed issues of mutual interest, regional and international developments, and the efforts exerted to achieve stability in the region.
Both sides affirmed the importance of continuing joint work, enhancing consultation, and coordinating positions on the most prominent regional and international issues and challenges, in a manner that contributes to supporting peaceful solutions and consolidating security, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in diplomatic training was signed between the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Diplomatic Academy of Tunisia.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the director of the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute by Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr and from the Tunisian side by Director General of the Diplomatic Academy Riadh Dridi.
