A new Saudi relief convoy arrived in the Gaza Strip, carrying food baskets and infant milk, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

The aid, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), aims to meet the basic needs of children and families affected by the worsening humanitarian crisis and to boost food security amid the spread of famine across the Strip.

The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner in Gaza, received the convoy in preparation for the immediate distribution of assistance to beneficiary families in various areas.

This initiative is part of the campaign launched to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and reflects Saudi Arabia’s continuous commitment to alleviating their suffering and mitigating the impact of the current humanitarian situation.

British maritime security firm Ambrey reported on Friday that it had received information about an incident occurring 20 nautical miles east of Khor Fakkan in the UAE.

The agency described the situation as “suspicious activity” and said authorities were investigating it.

Shortly afterward, it revealed that a Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker had been en route from Ajman toward Iranian territorial waters, heading to Singapore via the Strait of Hormuz, when three small boats approached it.

Ambrey added that the tanker abruptly veered off its course while transiting the Gulf of Oman and headed toward Iranian territorial waters.

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the escalating wave of violence and criminal attacks perpetrated by Israeli settlers and police forces against civilians, their livelihoods, and their holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The most recent of these attacks included the burning of a mosque in the Salfit Governorate by settlers and the assault by Israeli police on Christians attempting to enter a church in occupied Jerusalem, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

In a statement, the MWL's Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced the Israeli acts and stressed the urgent need for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to halt such criminal approach, activate firm mechanisms to deter it, and hold those responsible accountable.
