Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a series of bilateral meetings on Saturday with his counterparts from several countries on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The discussions focused on the latest regional and international developments, their security and humanitarian implications, and the ongoing efforts to address these challenges.
In a bilateral meeting, the Saudi FM discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, regional and international developments and their impact on the security of the region, as well as the joint efforts to address them. The talks followed a review of the strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bin Farhan also discussed the latest regional developments with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. The two ministers reviewed relations between Riyadh and Paris and explored areas of bilateral cooperation across various fields.
The Saudi FM’s meeting with his Argentine counterpart, Pablo Quirno, touched on a range of regional and international issues and topics of mutual interest. The talks also included a review of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in multiple sectors.
In a meeting with Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, Prince Faisal discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various sectors. The two sides also addressed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The meetings were attended by Saudi Ambassador to South Africa Faisal Al-Harbi and Director General of the Foreign Minister's Office Waleed Al-Ismail.
