Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah launched on Monday the electronic portal for Saudi nonprofit organizations at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Al Rabeeah noted that the center was established through a generous initiative by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It began carrying out its mission under the close guidance of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, until it became the Kingdom’s humanitarian beacon to the world and a testament to its role in shaping the future of global humanitarian action.

KSrelief has operated in 109 countries through more than 4,000 relief projects at a cost exceeding $8.276 billion, each carrying stories of lives saved at critical moments, families finding safe shelter, and communities regaining the means to rise again, he stressed.

These efforts are reinforced by an integrated volunteer ecosystem reflecting the readiness of Saudi cadres to serve humanity, Al Rabeeah went on to say. This ecosystem has implemented more than 1,200 volunteer projects in dozens of countries, valued at over $147 million, representing the essence of Saudi humanitarian leadership and reinforcing the image of the Saudi citizen as a messenger of peace.

The center is opening a new chapter of empowerment today by inviting national organizations to join this promising platform, which in its foundational phase has examined and evaluated 50 local nonprofit organizations according to the highest international governance standards to become key partners in KSrelief’s external projects, he added.

These organizations have demonstrated their presence in the neediest communities by implementing 229 humanitarian and relief projects and programs and performing 50,855 surgical operations in more than 20 countries at a value exceeding SAR115 million, he remarked. These figures stand as proof that assessment and qualification are the gateway to more impactful and long-term partnerships.

Al Rabeeah launched the link to the electronic portal for nonprofit organizations, which enables organizations in both Arabic and English to submit applications to KSrelief, obtain initial approval certificates, and operate outside the Kingdom. It allows them to implement humanitarian and relief projects, manage international volunteer programs, facilitate procedures, enhance transparency, and support integration and partnership.
