Arab Leaders Congratulate Saudi Leadership on Founding Day

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended his congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of Founding Day.

In two cables, President Abbas expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Saudi leadership, government, and people for continued prosperity and progress.

According to SPA, he also expressed hope that the deep-rooted relations between the two countries would continue to develop and advance.

Furthermore, the Palestinian president commended the Kingdom’s honorable and supportive stance toward the Palestinian people and praised its historic success in securing recognition of the independent State of Palestine by major countries.

For his part, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman has sent a cable of congratulations to the Saudi King and Crown Prince expressing his warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people with lasting stability, progress, and prosperity.

Also, Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the Saudi leadership on this occasion. In two cables, the Kuwaiti Emir praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s international standing, its continuous contributions to civilization and development, and its significant role in supporting security, stability, and promoting peace in the region.

Sheikh Meshal expressed deep pride in the enduring and close fraternal relations that have united the two families throughout history. He acknowledged the strong bonds between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and prayed for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Additionally, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent two similar cables congratulating the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. He praised the Kingdom’s civilizational and developmental achievements, praying for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom and its people.

Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also sent two cables of congratulations to the Saudi King and Crown Prince on this occasion.

Coalition: Houthi Militia Continues Attacks and Attempts to Target Saudi Infrastructure

Official Spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Major General Turki Al-Malki stated that the terrorist Houthi militia is persisting in its heinous attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's 's national assets and infrastructure, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
Al-Malki explained that the continuation of these attacks demonstrates the Houthi militia's approach and extremist ideology regarding escalation and the targeting of civilians within the Kingdom.

On Wednesday, the militia launched attacks against the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Jazan using ballistic missiles and drones.
Al-Malki confirmed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will respond to these attacks responsibly to protect the Kingdom's sovereignty and national assets, as well as to safeguard civilians and civilian assets from these heinous acts.

This response will be conducted in accordance with the principle of self-defense pursuant to international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter and in compliance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

Saudi Arabia, Arab, Islamic Countries Hail UK Decision to Ban Imports from Illegal Israeli Settlements

Eight countries welcomed the decision by Britain to ban imports from illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank and impose restrictions on some services, adding they hoped the ‌move would ‌mobilize other countries to ‌take ⁠similar action.

In a ⁠joint statement, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Türkiye, Pakistan and Indonesia welcomed the joint statement ‌by 12 countries ‌on the need for a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The ministers "reiterate ‌their call for Israel to rescind all measures ⁠taken ⁠in connection with settlement activities and other measures aimed at altering the geographic and demographic character of the Occupied Palestinian Territory", the statement said.

The FMs welcomed the joint statement on the two-state solution issued by the foreign ministers of Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, confirming their intention to introduce national and/or support European restrictions on trade in goods with settlements that are illegal under international law, or to actively consider these and other measures in accordance with their respective national procedures.

The ministers considered the announced intentions to be in line with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, including UN Security Council resolution 2334 (2016), and the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice of July 19, 2024, including the obligation of all States not to recognize as legal the situation arising from Israel’s unlawful occupation and not to render aid or assistance in maintaining the situation created by Israel’s occupation.

The ministers underscored that Gaza is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and call for the full and immediate implementation of President Donald Trump’s peace plan to end the conflict in the enclave, to ensure security and stability, address the humanitarian situation, facilitate reconstruction and recovery, and lay the foundations for lasting peace.

They stressed that the only viable path to achieving a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace is the implementation of the two-state solution, through the realization of an independent, sovereign, contiguous, and viable Palestinian State, based on the June 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international law and the relevant UN resolutions.

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Wednesday the continued, “unjustified, and blatant Iranian attacks on Jordan.”

A Foreign Ministry statement reiterated Saudi Arabia's solidarity with Jordan and its people regarding any measures taken in response to this aggression.

Saudi Arabia stressed that the Iranian attacks are “a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness.”

It underlined “the urgent need for an immediate end to Iran's attacks against Jordan and other countries in the region, as well as the need for serious and concerted efforts to achieve security and stability for the region's nations and peoples.”
