Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received a phone call on Sunday from Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, during which they reviewed regional developments amid the ongoing military escalation and its implications for regional and international security.

The Sultan underscored the importance of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Crown Prince also received a phone call from Ahmed al-Sharaa, President of Syria, during which they discussed the continuing military escalation in the region.

The Syrian president affirmed his country’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reiterated Syria’s rejection of any violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty or any threat to its security and stability.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, held a series of phone calls on Sunday with a number of regional and international counterparts to discuss the latest developments and their implications for regional and international security.

During a call with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs, the two sides exchanged views on the current regional situation and explored ways to enhance joint efforts to promote security and stability.

In a separate call with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, discussions focused on the dangerous escalation in the region and the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom, Qatar, and several other countries. Both sides affirmed their full right to take the necessary measures to safeguard their security and stability.

The minister also received a call from Yvette Cooper, UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, during which they reviewed regional developments, condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region, and stressed the importance of continuing efforts to maintain regional security and stability.

In addition, Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, affirmed Italy’s solidarity with the Kingdom and its condemnation of the Iranian attacks during a phone conversation addressing the broader security repercussions in the region.

The minister further received a call from Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, who expressed his country’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks and reiterated Palestine’s solidarity and full support for the Kingdom and the brotherly Arab states.

They affirmed their countries’ full right to take the necessary measures to confront such threats, reiterating solidarity and readiness to mobilize all capabilities in support of efforts aimed at safeguarding security and preserving stability across the region.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received a phone call from US President Donald Trump on Sunday, during which the latter strongly condemned the blatant missile attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency said.

The missiles were successfully intercepted by Saudi air defenses.

President Trump reaffirmed the United States’ full support for the Kingdom and its backing of all measures taken to confront what he described as Iranian violations that threaten regional security and stability.

He stressed Washington’s commitment to standing alongside Saudi Arabia in safeguarding the region against such escalatory actions by Iran.
