Official spokesman of the Saudi Defense Ministry Turki al-Malki said on Friday that the Kingdom’s defenses intercepted and destroyed 28 drones after entering the country’s airspace.
Ten drones were also shot down over the Eastern Region and seven in the eastern and central regions.
On Thursday, the Kingdom destroyed two ballistic missiles fired at the Eastern Region and Prince Sultan Air Base in al-Kharj, 80 kms southeast of Riyadh.
Defenses also destroyed 33 drones in the Eastern Region, and 17 in the Empty Quarter that were aimed at the Shaybah oil field.
One missile was shot down as it was flying towards the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh.
