Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Monday.
During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and their implications for regional security and stability.
They also affirmed that the continued Iranian attacks against the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) represent a dangerous escalation threatening the security and stability of the region, SPA said.
They stressed that GCC countries will continue exerting all efforts to defend their territories and mobilize all available capabilities to support regional security and preserve stability, it added.
