MWL Denounces Terrorist Threats Against Morocco

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the terrorist plots targeting public order and the security of individuals and property in the Kingdom of Morocco, SPA reported.

In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa reaffirmed the league's rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, expressing full solidarity with Morocco in confronting threats to its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Tuesday in Jeddah with Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense of the Republic of Ireland Helen McEntee.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various fields, contributing to expanding the horizons of partnership between Saudi Arabia and Ireland and achieving the common interests of both nations.

They also discussed the latest regional and international developments alongside the efforts being made to de-escalate tensions and create conditions for reaching comprehensive and peaceful solutions to end the conflict in the region.

They emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to address crises, restore stability to the region, and ensure the safety of waterways and freedom of navigation.

Furthermore, the two officials explored opportunities to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, encourage partnerships between the public and private sectors, and capitalize on the opportunities offered by Saudi Vision 2030, thereby enhancing trade and mutual investments between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns the Cowardly Terrorist Attack on Damascus

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation and denunciation of the cowardly terrorist attack in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which injured a number of civilians and security personnel as they were attempting to dismantle two explosive devices planted by a terrorist cell.

The Kingdom reiterated its categorical rejection of all terrorist and extremist acts that attempt to destabilize the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people, SPA reported.

It also expressed its sincere sympathy to the families of the injured and to the government and people of Syria over this tragic incident, wishing continued security and safety for Syria and its people.

Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest terms what it described as terrorist plots targeting public order and the safety of people and property in Morocco.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement reaffirmed solidarity with the government and people of Morocco, and reiterated its categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism, as well as attempts to undermine the security and stability of Morocco and its people.

Saudi Arabia also praised the efficiency of Morocco's security services in safeguarding security and swiftly foiling what it described as the cowardly terrorist plots, wishing Morocco and its people continued security, stability and prosperity.
