Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi expressed his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of Iran's continued destabilizing behavior regarding regional security and stability, its repeated brutal targeting of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as its dangerous attacks on commercial vessels.
Albudaiwi stated that Iran's behavior constitutes a grave violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817, as well as a direct undermining of maritime security and freedom of navigation, SPA reported.
He noted that these repeated, brutal Iranian attacks not only hinder all endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region, but also reveal a systematic insistence on perpetuating chaos, in blatant defiance of international law and the international community's shared will to establish peace.
He underlined that the GCC supports all measures taken by the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan to bolster their security, safeguard their sovereignty, and protect their peoples and residents across their territories.

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defense said on Saturday that Civil Defense teams in the Makkah and Madinah regions responded on to falling debris from the interception of two ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia toward the two regions.
Parts of the intercepted missiles fell in Wadi Al-Mughammas in Makkah, while interception debris fell in Al-Nuzha neighborhood in Jeddah Governorate, Wadi Jalil in Taif Governorate, and Masturah Center in Rabigh Governorate.
Wadi Al-Mughammas is located around 20 km east of the Grand Mosque and near the ritual site of Arafat.
The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen had announced earlier on Saturday the interception and destruction of three ballistic missiles launched by the militia toward the Saudi cities of Riyadh, Taif, and Yanbu, as well as a drone targeting the Eastern Region.
The Civil Defense had issued early warning alerts for potential hazards in Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, Najran, and Wadi ad-Dawasir, before declaring the danger over minutes later.
‘Despicable attacks’
President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's continued targeting of Makkah and Madinah, calling it "a blatant assault on the sanctity of the two holy cities and a violation of Islamic Sharia, which forbids aggression and mandates the protection of sacred sites."
He said the repeated attacks "reveal the militia's criminal approach, its malicious intentions toward Muslims and their holy sites, and its disregard for the status of the Two Holy Mosques."
"Targeting holy sites, civilians, and facilities is a crime forbidden by Islamic law and condemned by humanity, as well as a violation of international norms," he said.
Al-Sudais stressed that the attacks "will not undermine the Kingdom's security and stability, but will only strengthen the resolve of its leadership and people to protect the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors."
He commended the leadership's efforts to protect the Two Holy Mosques and Islam's holy sites, stressing that their security is "a red line that must not be breached."
