The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council condemned the drone attack by Iran-backed militias targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Region and Riyadh Region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the General Secretariat said the attack violated international law and norms and undermined efforts to reduce regional tensions.
It reiterated its solidarity with Saudi Arabia and said it supported all measures the kingdom takes to deter such attacks, safeguard its security, and protect its facilities, civilian infrastructure, citizens, and residents.
