The Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) will conduct the joint military exercise "Bahrain Shield" from July 28 to 30, with the participation of the armed forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The exercise aims to strengthen joint military cooperation among the GCC armed forces, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and assess the effectiveness of joint operational systems, reported Bahrain’s state news agency BNA.
The participation of the GCC armed forces reflects the BDF's commitment to conducting joint exercises to boost combat readiness, develop operational capabilities, and strengthen planning for joint operations.
The exercise will provide opportunities to unify operational concepts among the participating forces and reinforce military cooperation and coordination to address shared challenges.
