Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Italy's Prime Minister (SPA)

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Italy's Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni have discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries in different fields.


Gentiloni, who is currently visiting the Kingdom, held at the King’s palace in Riyadh a round of official talks which was attended by: Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Massed al-Ayban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf, Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid al-Qassabi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir, Minister of Finance Mohamed al-Jadaan, Saudi Charge d'Affaires to Italy Faisal bin Hanif al-Qahtani, Italian Prime Minister's accompanying delegation and Italy's Ambassador to the Kingdom Luca Ferrari.


King Salman also held a luncheon banquet in the honor of Gentiloni and his accompanying delegation.


Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, also met with the Italian Prime Minister.


During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, particularly investment and trade exchange in line with Vision 2030.


The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials.


Gentiloni arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday. The PM was received at King Salman Air Base Airport by the Governor of Riyadh Region, Minister al-Qasabi, and a number of other senior officials.
