Saudi Charge d’Affaires Walid al-Bukhari invited on Wednesday Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi for an official visit to Saudi Arabia within the coming weeks.
“I was honored to visit Patriarch al-Rahi and I gave him an invitation to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman,” Bukhari said after the meeting.
He described the visit, which he said will be made in the coming weeks, as “important” and “historical.”
