Men lie twice as often as women, and one in ten believe they are experts at it, according to a new study reported by the Daily Mail. The new study found that men fib once every four days, while women lie only once every eight.
The survey also revealed politics is the least trusted profession, with 71% of those questioned saying politicians had hidden agendas.
According to the German news agency, the study was carried out for the release of PlayStation 4 game Hidden Agenda, where players have to spot liars.
The research also showed that nine out of ten people believe they can spot a lie easily, with a lack of eye contact being the biggest giveaway 64%, followed by delayed responses 50%.
