Sisi, Prince Sultan bin Salman Emphasize Strengthening Relations between their Two Countries

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Saudi Arabia, in Cairo, where they discussed means of cooperation between the two countries, and stressed the importance of strengthening the Saudi-Egyptian relations in various fields to enhance the Arab solidarity.


Official Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi stated that His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, crown prince and deputy prime minister of Saudi Arabia to President Sisi.


Prince Sultan bin Salman stressed the strong relations between the two brotherly countries, and the kingdom's keenness to further strengthen them in various fields, according to the Egyptian statement.


Radi added that Sisi affirmed Egypt's pride in the close relations between the two countries and requested the transfer of his greetings to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince, highlighting the importance of strengthening the "ties at all levels; thus, enhancing the Arab solidarity in the face of the various challenges in the Arab region".


Radi said that during the meeting both parties discussed the "means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the cultural field, as well as means of restoration of historical sites and preservation of heritage, stressing the importance of continuing the intensive coordination and consultation between the two countries in various issues in the framework of their strategic partnership."
