The Ministry of Energy and Industry has pointed out that the Minister of Energy, Khalid al-Falih, talked about not changing the energy prices for the industrial sector only, during a news conference he held on Dec. 20.
The ministry, in a statement on Wednesday, stressed that what has been rumored about Falih’s statements on the social networks regarding not correcting energy prices in 2018 is untrue.
The statement added that Falih talked about not changing the energy prices of the industrial sector only in order to alleviate the burden on citizens during the period needed by industries to rationalize energy consumption. A thing that has been actually implemented.
