Kuwait’s First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday to inspect Kuwaiti troops stationed there as part of Restoration of Hope Operation.
Sheikh Nasser was accompanied by a high-level delegation, state-run KUNA news agency cited the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry.
The Kuwaiti soldiers operate as part of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia to restore legitimacy in Yemen, it said.
Sheikh Nasser’s trip to the Kingdom was his second in a week.
Last Thursday, the defense minister visited Riyadh where he met with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense.
