Bahrain Reorganizes Three Ministries

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain issued four decrees on Sunday to organize the ministries of interior, finance and justice.


According to the first decree, the ministry of interior will be reorganized by setting up a general directorate for the security of the Royal Court.


The new general directorate will include two departments that the Minister of Interior will name later, the decree added.


It also set up the General Directorate for Media and Security Culture, which will include three departments: department for security media, department for security culture and one for a police museum.


Meanwhile, under the second decree, King Hamad appointed eight leaders in the Ministry of Interior at the rank of Director General.


These leaders are Major General Khalifa Ahmed Al Khalifa as Deputy Inspector-General, Major General Abdullah Mohammed Al Zayed as Deputy Chief of Public Security, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Khalifa as assistant chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Brigadier Mohammed bin Mohammed bin Dainah as Director General of the General Directorate of the Security Media and Culture, Brigadier Waheed Juma al-Duowy as Director General of the General Directorate of Sentries, Brigadier Jabr Sultan Ahmed al-Suwaidi as Director General of the Royal Court Sentry, Brigadier Hamad Ali al-Marri as Director General of the Directorate of Police in the Southern Governorate and Brigadier Abdulsalam Yousef al-Oraifi as Director General of the General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation.


The third decree appointed Ibrahim Mohammed Ali Abul as Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Data and Taha Mahmoud Mohammed Faqihi as Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Finance.


Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Ahmadi was appointed as Assistant Undersecretary for Minors Funds and Affairs and Mohammed Abdulraheem Ahmed Bu Cheeri has been appointed as Assistant Undersecretary for Courts and Notarization Affairs, according to the fourth decree, which stipulated appointing them in the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
