The United Arab Emirates denied on Friday Qatar’s accusations that it had violated the country’s airspace.
UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash tweeted that Qatar’s complaint was untrue and “fabricated.”
“We are working on responding to it officially with evidence,” he revealed.
“What we are witnessing is escalatory and unwarranted. Everything that used to happen under the table is now in the open,” he continued.
Qatar had accused the UAE of violating its airspace on December 21, saying that it had filed a complaint to the United Nations over the issue.
