Saudi Aramco Contains Fire at Riyadh Storage Tank

Saudi Aramco announced on Wednesday that the civil defense had contained a limited fire at a storage tank at its Riyadh refinery.

It tweeted that the blaze, which broke out in the early evening, had not affected the activities of the refinery and there were no casualties.

The fire was due to "an operational incident,” it tweeted later in the evening.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Family Affairs Council Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi met with UN Women Executive Director Sima Sami Bahous and her accompanying delegation, SPA reported.
The meeting discussed areas of mutual interest, including preparations for Saudi Arabia’s presidency of this year’s 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

It also reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance women’s status and the initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at empowering women across various sectors.
Both sides emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthen cooperation with UN Women in implementing joint programs and projects to support women’s empowerment and economic participation.
