King Salman Orders Hosting of 1,000 Palestinian Hajj Pilgrims

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz offered on Thursday to host 1,000 pilgrims from the Palestinian territories, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The invitation was presented to the relatives of martyrs as part of the annual Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program that is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

Mister of Islamic Affairs and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh said that this year's pilgrims are coming from Asia, Africa and Europe.

As many as 43,547 pilgrims have benefited from this program since its inception 22 years ago.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), has distributed shelter kits in Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.

This assistance is part of Saudi Arabia's continued support for the Palestinian people, and its commitment to providing humanitarian assistance, through KSrelief, to people in need across the world.
