King Salman Inaugurates Development Projects in Riyadh

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz inaugurated on Wednesday development projects in the Riyadh region

Estimated at an investment cost of 82 billion riyals ($21.9 billion), the projects were unveiled during a ceremony in the capital that was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and several dignitaries.

Governor of the Riyadh region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz declared during the event that through these projects, “our country will remain powerful through its leadership and armed with its loyal people.”

The Saudi leadership offered condolences to the President of Russia over the victims of a passenger plane crash in Amur Region in eastern Russia that killed everyone on board, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He expressed his deepest condolences to the president, the Russian people, and the families of the deceased.

In a separate cable Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, extended his condolences and deepest sorrow to Putin, the Russian people, and the families of the deceased.
