King of Bahrain to Visit France Monday

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will leave for Paris Monday on an official visit, reported the Kingdom’s news agency (BNA) Sunday.

He will be visiting France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, said the Royal Court.

King Hamad will hold talks with Macron on the long-standing solid friendly relations between the two countries, in addition to the latest regional and global developments and issues of mutual interest.

The French presidency said that the two leaders will meet on Tuesday to discuss Syria and Yemen, as well as cultural, educational and economic cooperation.

MWL Condemns Israeli Occupation's Electricity Cutoff in Gaza

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to cut off electricity to the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa denounced the ongoing Israeli violations of international and humanitarian laws and norms.

According to SPA, he called upon the international community to take urgent and decisive action against these dangerous violations against civilians in Gaza.

He also demanded the immediate restoration of electricity and the provision of aid to the affected population.
