Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz offered on Thursday Saudi Arabia’s help to Australia as it combats its worst ever bushfires.

In a telephone call with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, King Salman said the Kingdom was prepared to help Australia overcome its disaster.

He offered his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, saying Saudi Arabia and its people stand in solidarity with Australia in its plight.

Twenty-seven people have been killed and thousands subjected to repeat evacuations as monster - and unpredictable – fires have scorched through more than 10.3 million hectares (25.5 million acres) of land, an area the size of South Korea, since the start of October.

MWL Condemns Israeli Airstrike Near Syrian Presidential Palace

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrike near the presidential palace in Damascus.

In a statement released by its General Secretariat, the MWL denounced what it called the "barbaric Israeli approach" as a violation of all international laws and norms that further destabilizes Syria and the broader region, SPA reported.
The MWL reiterated its full solidarity with Syria and its people in the face of all threats to the nation's security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
