Saudi Foreign Minister, US Envoy Discuss Developments in Syria
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received in Riyadh on Sunday James Jeffrey, the United States Special Representative for Syria Engagement.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments of the Syrian crisis and efforts exerted to resolve it, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The meeting was attended by Thamir bin Sabhan Al-Sabhan, Minister of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs, it said.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir also met with Jeffrey and his accompanying delegation, SPA reported.
During the talks, they reviewed the latest developments in Syria, it said.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the General Department of Arab States in the Foreign Ministry, Saeed bin Othman Suwaied, and Minister Plenipotentiary Ahmed Bin Jazaa Al-Sheikh, the news agency added.
