The Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has enabled the issuance of all types of powers of attorney (PoAs) in Qatif through the Unified Communication Center’s number 1950. The step is aligned with the government’s measures applied in Qatif to protect public health.

“Starting today, the people of Qatif can get all types of PoAs issued from the comfort of their homes as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus,” the MoJ said.

“PoAs are issued by calling the universal access number 1950, verification of identity by a notary public, and approval of the PoA after verifying the registered phone number,” the ministry added.

“The step is part of the government’s precautionary measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19) aiming to safeguard public health,” the MoJ noted.

Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Plans to Displace Palestinians from Gaza

Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday Israel’s announcement of the establishment of an agency that aims to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, as well as the approval of the separation of 13 illegal settlement neighborhoods in the West Bank in preparation for legitimizing them as settlements.

The Kingdom reiterated its firm rejection of Israel’s continuous violations of international law and international humanitarian law, said the Foreign Ministry.

It stressed that lasting and just peace cannot be achieved without the Palestinian people obtaining their legitimate rights in accordance with international resolutions and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
