King Salman Orders $493 Mln in ‘Ramadan Aid’ for Social Security Beneficiaries

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Monday the distribution of "Ramadan Aid" worth 1.85 billion riyals ($492.6 million) for social security beneficiaries, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Providers of families will get 1,000 riyals each while family members will get 500 riyals each.

The generous gesture reflects King Salman’s keenness on ensuring that the people live a dignified life, said SPA.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a message of condolence to President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema on the passing of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, SPA reported.

In his message, King Salman expressed his sincere condolences to the Zambian president and the family of the deceased.
