Governor of the Tabuk province Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz handed on Monday the first batch of financial compensations to people whose properties lie within the first phase of the Neom project.

He underlined the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in achieving Saudi Vision 2030 and the success of related projects and programs, which are forging forward steadily throughout the Kingdom.

He said the Crown Prince Mohammed ordered the allocation of a free plot of land for every individual included in the compensation. Plots will be available in the coastal regions, Duba province or Tabuk city.

They will also enjoy several social and economic packages, he added.

Neom is also preparing a program to attract Saudis to training courses that will help them find jobs in these projects, said Prince Fahd.

The compensations, he continued, will be handed out in installments in the coming weeks.
