Kuwait Resumes Flights to 20 Countries
The Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced Tuesday the airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport will start commercial flights to 20 countries worldwide on 1st of August.
The airlines that will start operating are those of the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Turkey Iran, Nepal, Switzerland, Germany, Azerbaijan, the Philippines and India, said DGCA Director of the Department of Air Transport Abdullah Al-Rajhi.
He also said that the airlines' schedules and flight times will be announced shortly, calling on all travelers to follow all health procedures and guidelines.
Kuwait recorded 770 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 65,149, the Ministry of Health said.
Meanwhile, the death toll also increased by four raising the death toll to 442 cases. Also, a further 624 people recovered from the virus.
