Oman, Qatar Report Rise in Coronavirus Cases

Oman's Ministry of Health said it had registered 427 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

Among those, 210 new cases were of expats and 217 of Omanis.

The new cases raised the total infections in the country to 80,713.

Also, up tp 70,910 recoveries were reported and up to 492 deaths, according to Health Ministry.

The Ministry urged everyone to abide by social distancing instructions and to stay at home unless for necessary trips.

Meanwhile, Qatar's Ministry of Public Health has confirmed 623 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of cases to 7,764.

It also confirmed that 61 new cases recovered from the virus, raising the number of recoveries to 750, while up to 7,004 cases are currently receiving treatment.
