Asia's FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Postponed for 2021

The Asian Football Confederation has postponed all qualifiers scheduled in October and November for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup.

The AFC said the delay is to protect the health and safety of all participants because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The games will be rescheduled in 2021.

The 2022 World Cup is set to be played in Qatar and the Asian Cup will be held in China the following year.

Al-Hilal Football Club will begin its FIFA Club World Cup 2025 journey on Wednesday , with a high-profile clash against Real Madrid at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, US.

According to SPA, the match is one of the most anticipated fixtures of the tournament’s opening round.

This expanded edition of the tournament, featuring 32 teams for the first time, is being held under the supervision of FIFA and includes top continental champions from around the world.
