Arab Coalition Says it Downed Drone Launched by Houthis

The Coalition to Fight Legitimacy in Yemen said it intercepted and downed a booby-trapped drone launched from Yemen towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the state news agency reported on Thursday.

“The Coalition’s joint forces were able this evening to intercept and destroy the booby-trapped drone that was launched by the terrorist Houthi militias from the capital (Sanaa) towards civilian neighborhoods in (Saudi Arabia’s) southern region,” SPA quoted Coalition spokesman Col. Turki al-Malki as saying.

Saudi Leadership Offers Condolences to Nigeria over Death of Former President Buhari

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Monday a cable of condolences to Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

King Salman expressed deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the president, the Nigerian people, and the family of the deceased.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable of condolences.
