The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, received on Sunday a written message from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The message was delivered to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah during his meeting with Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom Sheikh Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, SPA said.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and the world, the news agency added.

The two ministers discussed the latest regional developments, ways to reduce escalation, and topics of mutual interest, most notably achieving a lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the situation in Sudan.
