Samba Financial Group has announced the delivery of 100 furnished housing units, as part of a community-based partnership program.
The announcement was made during a ceremony held on Sunday in the presence of Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing and Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Khulaifi, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency.
This fifth batch of housing units comes within a plan by Samba Financial Group to deliver 500 fully furnished housing units to the neediest families.
The 100 prefabricated residential villas included in this batch extend over an area of 500 square meters per villa and are intended to provide decent housing for more than a thousand citizens across the Kingdom.
Al-Hogail renewed his appreciation to the Samba Financial Group for its community initiatives that are launched in cooperation with the ministry.
The Group’s initiative is a model in generosity and promoting the concept of social responsibility, he said during the ceremony.
The minister underlined his ministry’s keenness to provide adequate housing for the less fortunate families within an effective partnership with the private and non-profit sectors, represented by more than 350 associations, based on the objectives of the “housing program” that falls within Vision 2030.
Eng. Ammar Al-Khudairi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samba Financial Group, expressed Samba’s commitment to implement the community development initiative and to support government efforts to provide decent housing for citizens within the goals of Vision 2030.
