Kuwait’s Emir Congratulates Saudi Arabia on Success of the G20 Summit

Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on the success of the G20 Leaders' Summit presided over by Saudi Arabia.


Sheikh Nawaf commended the summit's distinguished organization that contributed to reaching constructive decisions and fruitful recommendations, especially with regard to strengthening international cooperation to confront the coronavirus pandemic and limit its repercussions.


Further, Kuwait's Emir lauded the tireless efforts made to fulfill the requirements of sustainable development, as well as to keep pace with successive developments, especially health conditions.


This summit's success, through the keenness of all its members to participate effectively despite the current exceptional circumstances, clearly reflects the esteemed and the high position of the Kingdom in the international community, he stressed.


In the same context, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the crown prince of Kuwait, and Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the prime minister of Kuwait, also congratulated King Salman on the success of the G20 Summit.


Also, the Kuwaiti Cabinet hailed the positive and significant outcomes realized during the Kingdom's presidency of the G20.


The success of the Kingdom in presiding over the G20 meetings reflects its positive and key role on all levels – it also adds up to its international and regional achievements and embodies its keenness on protecting humans everywhere, according to the cabinet.


In Tunis, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Koman expressed delight for the tremendous success attained by Saudi Arabia in hosting, organizing, and presiding over the G20 Leaders' Summit.


This success coincides with giant economic and social changes in the kingdom within the Saudi Vision 2030 and under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.


Koman praised the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on serving the Islamic and Arab causes, in addition to his efforts in confronting the global challenges and reinforcing international cooperation.
