The Iran-backed Houthi militias fired on Monday a ballistic missile, which ended up crashing in Yemeni territory.

Saudi-led Arab coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said the terrorist militias had fired the projectile from the Amran province.

He accused them of launching the missile from civilian areas, revealing that it eventually crashed in the Saada province.

Malki stressed that the Houthis continue to violate international humanitarian law by launching such missiles that end up landing in civilian areas, threatening the lives of hundreds of people.

The joint coalition command will continue to take firm and deterrent measures to neutralize the Houthis’ capabilities, protect civilians inside Yemen and safeguard regional and international security, he vowed.
