Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir stated on Tuesday that the Iranian regime thrives on assassinations that it has carried out “throughout the world.”

“Saudi Arabia has lost several of its citizens because of Tehran’s criminal and unlawful behavior,” he said in a tweet.

Moreover, he questioned the “desperation” that prompted Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to blame Saudi Arabia for the developments in Iran.

“Perhaps, if an earthquake or flood were to strike Iran – God forbid – then will he also blame the Kingdom?” he wondered.

“We do not recognize or approve of assassinations in any way shape or form. They are not part of the Kingdom’s policy, whereas the Iranian regime has thrived on assassinations throughout the world, ever since the revolution that was usurped by Khomeini in 1979,” Jubeir remarked.
