Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah reappointed Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah as prime minister on Tuesday, state news agency KUNA reported.

The prime minister earlier submitted his government’s resignation in a procedural step following parliamentary polls.

Kuwait's ruler also assigned Sheikh Khalid to form a new government.

The new cabinet would have to be approved by the Emir, according to a decree carried on state media.

The eighth Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived Thursday at Damascus International Airport in Syria, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.
This assistance is an extension of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those in need worldwide during crises.
