Bahrain King Issues Decree on Establishment of Consulate General in Laayoune

Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued on Sunday a decree on the establishment of a consular mission in the Moroccan city of Laayoune, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The Royal Decree stipulates the establishment of a Bahraini Consulate General in Laayoune, BNA said.

The Foreign Affairs Minister shall implement the decree, which takes immediate effect, and will be published in the Official Gazette, the news agency added.

Former Palestinian Minister of Health Jawad Al-Tibi expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for hosting the families of Palestinian martyrs, prisoners, and wounded to perform Hajj for 1446 AH, SPA reported.

The initiative is part of the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

Al-Tibi praised the warm reception and generous hospitality extended to the pilgrims, the outstanding organization, the high level of services provided, and the facilitation offered to perform Hajj rituals in ease and tranquility.
