Saudi Airlines (Saudia) will operate flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Doha, starting from Monday, the airline said in a tweet on Saturday.
On Monday, Saudi Arabia reopened its airspace to Qatar after a breakthrough towards resolving the Gulf row between the Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt with Doha.
The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council held their annual meeting on Monday in Saudi Arabia’s AlUla.
At the conclusion of the summit, they declared that the rift with Qatar was over.
Qatar Airways will resume flights to Saudi Arabia, starting with the capital Riyadh on Monday, followed by Jeddah on Jan. 14, then Dammam on Jan. 16, the airline tweeted on Saturday.
The United Arab Emirates reopened all its land, sea and air entry points with Qatar on Saturday.
