The Arab Coalition said it had intercepted and destroyed explosive drones launched by Yemen's Houthis on Sunday targeting Saudi Arabia.

Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said two drones were fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias targeting Khamis Mushait in the Kingdom.

The attempted attack was “systematic and deliberately targeted civilians and structures,” the Coalition said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

This is the fifth such attack in four days, the latest of which was on Saturday when the Coalition intercepted and downed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Houthis towards Abha airport.

Fifty-four Saudi relief trucks crossed the Nasib Border Crossing into Syria on Sunday.

This comes as part of the Saudi humanitarian land bridge operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

According to SPA, the trucks are carrying essential supplies, including food, shelter, and medical aid, to assist the Syrian people in their time of need.

So far, a total of 114 relief trucks have crossed the Syrian border, and 13 relief planes have arrived at Damascus International Airport as part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to support brotherly nations during crises.
