The US embassy in Riyadh condemned on Tuesday the attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen on Saudi Arabia’s southern Jazan region.
Five civilians were injured when a Houthi projectile struck Jazan overnight.
“We call on the Houthis to stop attacking innocent civilians and to engage in the diplomatic process to end this conflict,” urged the embassy.
