The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Wednesday that it has intercepted and destroyed an armed drone fired the by the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards the Kingdom.
Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said the aircraft was deliberately fired towards civilian areas in southern regions of the Kingdom.
He stressed that the coalition forces were taking the necessary measures to protect civilians in line with international humanitarian law.
